Tyrese Gibson arrested over child support, claims conspiracy

Tyrese Gibson arrested for unpaid child support, alleges conspiracy

Tyrese Gibson was arrested in court on Monday for failing to pay $10,000 a month in child support. He was in a legal battle with his ex-wife, Samantha Lee, over support for their 5-year-old daughter, Soraya. Judge Kevin Farmer, overseeing the case in Fulton County, Georgia, issued the arrest due to Gibson's non-payment.

Conditions for Release

Gibson, known for his role in "Fast and Furious," was handcuffed and taken out of the courtroom. The judge informed him that he could avoid jail if he paid a total of $73,000, which includes $7,500 in attorney fees for Lee. Gibson is working on ways to settle the debt, according to reports.

Gibson had warned his fans about his potential arrest before the court hearing and accused Judge Farmer and Lee’s legal team of conspiring against him. In a now-deleted Instagram post, he claimed there was collusion between Lee’s lawyer and the judge. Gibson said they had tried twice to remove the judge from the case.

In addition to this child support case, Gibson has faced legal troubles related to his first marriage. His ex-wife, Norma Mitchell, recently sued him for defamation and privacy violations concerning their 17-year-old daughter, Shayla. Gibson had previously been married to Mitchell from 2007 to 2009.

Despite his legal issues, Gibson reached out to the media to request coverage of the hearings, insisting that the court's actions are biased against him. He emphasized his hard work and success in his career, which he feels is not being fairly considered in the ongoing legal battles.
